Cherry Red Records are set to release The Atlantic Years 2002-2005 on the 30th May, the box set collects The Donnas two albums that were released on Atlantic Records, 2002’s Spend The Night & 2004’s Gold Medal, alongside a bonus disc of singles, B-sides, acoustic versions, live takes and more. The band took inspiration from the punky pop rock of the Ramones and The Runaways and blended it with the classic rock of Bachman-Turner Overdrive, AC/DC and KISS. Spend The Night saw the band appear on mainstream US TV shows and a number of film soundtracks, including Dodgeball, Mean Girls, Elektra, New York Minute and Herbie Fully Loaded, as well as computer games and major advertising campaigns.
