Carpool announce new album ‘My Life In Subtitles,’ share “Can We Just Get High?”

Having recently signed to SideOneDummy, Rochester emo band Carpool have now announced their first album for the label, My Life In Subtitles, due March 22. Recorded by Jay Zubricky (Every Time I Die, Save Face, etc), the album’s first single is “Can We Just Get High?,” a big, crunchy, power-pop punk anthem that feels like it’ll be an instant shoutalong at shows. Vocalist/guitarist Stoph Colasanto says: I’d like to believe that this song speaks for itself in terms of what it means, but it genuinely is a touch more nuanced than what it appears to be at surface level.
