Steve Harris’ awesome side-project British Lion have announced details of their second album. The record goes by the name The Burning, and will drop on January 17, 2020. To coincide with the news, the band – completed by vocalist Richard Taylor, guitarists David Hawkins and Grahame Leslie, and drummer Simon Dawson – have unveiled two new songs with album pre-orders, Lightning and Spit Fire (the former song you can also hear below). “We’ve been working on The Burning for the past couple of years and everyone is really pleased with the results,” says Richard. “We started playing some of the songs live on recent tours and got a fantastic reaction from our fans so we are really excited to be sharing this album with the world.
