Billie Joe Armstrong Pays Tribute To The Late Adam Schlesinger With New Cover

As part of his ace No Fun Mondays lockdown sessions, Billie Joe Armstrong has covered That Thing You Do! in tribute to Adam Schlesinger, who died in early April due to coronavirus complications. Rather than opting for a Fountains Of Wayne track to pay tribute to the late, great musician and songwriter, the Green Day frontman took on That Thing You Do! – a song that Adam wrote for the 1996 music-comedy film of the same name.
