When Ben Quad were announced as the only non-Pure Noise band on the upcoming Pure Noise Tour with Microwave, Prince Daddy & the Hyena, and Just Friends, we wondered if they were about to announce that they signed to Pure Noise, and today that’s exactly what happened. Their first single for the label is “You’ll Get Nothing and Like It,” and Ben Quad have clearly decided to announce the Pure Noise signing with a song that goes very hard. This one finds the Oklahoma band branching out from their Midwest emo roots and going in a much heavier direction, embracing screamo and metallic hardcore.
