Bandcamp of the Day: Fail Sons / Chill Parents
Today, we have a split with two DC area bands for you, Fail Sons and Chill Parents. Fail Sons got their start in 2018, and have been relatively quiet until this year when they releasing the Soft Spot EP followed by their split with Chill Parents. Chill Parents have been slightly busier, having released new album, At The Barricades, one month after their split with Fail Sons. Their split is a call back to the skate punk and melo-punk of the late ’90s and early ’00s, when the genre was on the downswing in terms of popularity, but it’s biggest names were still selling records in the 10s of thousands.
