Bad Pelicans havre released their new full length, Eternal Life Now, that features constant full on chorus, distorted bass and thunderous guitar riffs. Redirecting the surf punk of their early records they have instead adopted a savage, menacing avant-garde artrock on their new album. Bad Pelicans will also be playing an album release show at Paris’ Point Ephémère on the 2nd March. The radical nihilism of the Bad Pelicans, exposed live through (literally) incinerating performances, apparently isn’t the band’s only tour de force. From underneath the rumbling detonations and layers of feedback emerges a sincere full length that is out now via Géographie Recs.
