The sixth studio album by punk legends the Ramones, Pleasant Dreams, is celebrating its 40-year anniversary today. The album was notable in the change in sound for the band, boasting a variety of musical styles that stray from traditional punk rock. The production also changed the style of the record in comparison to those previously released by the band, the high quality style embracing a totally different sound than some of their more “raw” albums of the past.
