Musical collaborations between individual artists can either work well or fall flat. In the case of the Coachella Valley underground rock world, partnerships between desert natives and visitors are a recurring event. Right off the bat, many will think of Josh Homme’s Desert Sessions as a reference point. Another desert native musician whose collaborative activity is very much worth noting is Yawning Man founder Gary Arce.
