The first time I saw Red City Radio play, they were opening for the Smoking Popes at the Bottom Lounge in Chicago. It was love at first listen. Red City Radio pours themselves into a rising ocean of sound that submerges you in the first strum. If you asked me where these boys hail from, I would have guessed Milwaukee over OKC, because when describing Red City Radio, I always respond, “They’re Cream City.” I’ve been very excited for this album since their teaser release of “Love a Liar” and “Young, Broke & Beautiful” last year and was ecstatic when they announced at the War on X-Mas 2019, that a new album was coming.
