Death metal emerged in the ’80s during the height of the Satanic Panic scare, truly rose to prominence in the ’90s, and has been scaring Christian mothers ever since. And I can see why, especially when listening to Massacre’s newest album Resurgence. This album is everything I love about death metal from one of the original bands in the genre that may be a bit underrated, but one thing is for certain: Massacre are back to kick some ass.
