Ever since making the jump to UNFD records, Like Moths To Flames (LMTF) have rapidly evolved into a rather special metalcore band. What was once a very competent yet typical modern metalcore group have finally figured out what makes them unique: compelling dynamics. I can hear those of you who say, “Isn’t that every metalcore band post-Killswitch Engage?” to which I would respond, “It’s what most have aspired to but few have mastered.” Pure Like Porcelain is a perfect highlight reel of how to craft wonderfully melodic metalcore that doesn’t sacrifice weighty heaviness.
