What do you get when you cross metalcore and djent with shoegaze and post-rock? The answer: Boston quartet Astronoid. They returned with their third studio album, Radiant Bloom, from Misha Mansoor of Periphery’s label 3DOT Recordings on June 3rd. The current lineup of drummer Matt St. Jean, bassist and synthesizer Daniel Schwartz, guitarist Casey Aylward, and guitarist/lyricist/vocalist Brett Boland have been providing ethereal melodies for about a decade.
