The Smashing Pumpkins’ classic 1995 double-album Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness is getting turned into an opera. Frontman Billy Corgan has announced his plans to celebrate the record’s 30th anniversary with the help of hometown company Lyric Opera Of Chicago.
