Orange Goblin to call time after 30 years

Orange Goblin have announced that they’re planning to split, following a final celebratory run of shows.  The London stoner-metal legends made the announcement today that, after 30 years and 10 albums, this will be their final hurrah for now. The news follows last year’s excellent Science, Not Fiction album, which ended with a reflective track End Of Transmission.  Speaking to K! at the time, singer Ben Ward said, ​“It’s kind of an autobiographical song. So, to end the album with it and leave that question mark – is this the last song we’re gonna record? – was kind of the intention. I sincerely hope it’s not. But who knows?
