Chat Pile release “Frownland” video, begin tour this week

Chat Pile recently released their great new album Cool World and today they’ve put out a video for its song “Frownland.” Director Matthew Zagorski says: When I first heard this song, I heard despair, so I wanted the video to start off troubling. The main character laying there in the rubble of his old life, digging through the ruins of what used to be. I was dealing with extreme feelings of loneliness and not feeling worthy at the time of piecing together this video and it really bled into the narrative. Check it out below. The OKC band will kick off their tour with a hometown two-night stand that starts on Halloween, and they’ll land in NYC on November 16 at Le Poisson Rouge with Mamaleek and Traindodge.
