Civ of Gorilla Biscuits hosted the first annual New York City Tattoo Arts Convention at Terminal 5 from July 26-28. The con took over every floor/balcony of the large concert venue, and they held concerts on the roof! We weren’t sure how that would work, but they set up a stage outside, and the roof even has its own bar, bathrooms, and balcony, and it was actually a really cool setup on a beautiful evening when we showed up to catch the Friday night show that featured two Revelation Records vets playing reunion shows along with newer hardcore bands Raw Brigade, Spaced (who just released their great debut album This Is All We Ever Get on Rev), and Popeye from Farside’s new band Calling Hours.
