Cincinnati, Ohio-based alt-disco duo JJ & The Mood releases their new single, “Tired of Being Tough,” a song about getting serious about being silly and being yourself, allowing yourself to feel the vast array of wonderful human emotions. Vocalist Jack Sjogren says, “‘Tired of Being Tough’ is about my journey of unlearning the mores of toxic masculinity and meeting my emotions when they arise rather than stifling them.” Made up of Jack Sjogren, a multi-hyphenate cartoonist and songwriter/producer Joey Joseph, the pair initially met in Orlando, Florida.
