Artist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Derek Simpson shares his new single and lyric video, “wonka.” The song portrays love as a risky, perplexing excursion of self-exposure and doubt. Simpson explains, “It’s an unsafe place you go to when you allow yourself to be in love. You’re on exhibition all the time. And no matter your choices, you’re exposed.” Based in Los Angeles, Simpson’s starting point was Boston.
