LA garage-psych maestro Charles Moothart (formerly CFM) has released his new LP, Black Holes Don’t Choke. Announced at the beginning of December, Moothart has shared a host of singles from the record, which includes today’s focus track, “Hold On.” Moothart’s signature heavy fuzz is still present; however, it takes a bit of a backseat to his newly-present vocals as they swing across the track, building to the track’s infectious, titular chorus. Black Holes Don’t Choke is meant to be a present meditation. It was written, recorded, and mixed entirely by Charles Moothart in his Los Angeles studio, and he plays all of the music on the album.
