J. Robbins announces new solo LP & 2024 tour, shares “Exquisite Corpse”

Jawbox’s J. Robbins has announced a new solo album, Basilisk, due February 2 via Dischord (pre-order). J. engineered, mixed, and produced it himself, and it features bass/backing vocals by Brooks Harlan, drums/percussion by Darren Zentek, cello and some guest guitar by Gordon Withers, and a few other guest contributors. The first single is “Exquisite Corpse,” a catchy, punky anthem that sounds like classic J. Robbins. Listen and read an essay from J about the album below.
