Montreal indie-folk artist Kelly-Ann releases her debut single/music video, “Let You Go,” a track from her upcoming debut EP, set for release in early 2024. “Let You Go” is a song about separating from someone you still love because the relationship is harmful, i.e., a demonstration of self-love to protect your heart. Kelly-Ann explains, “‘Let You Go’ is a total exposure of one’s vulnerability. ‘Let You Go’ is loving yourself enough to leave everything behind, without looking back.” Born in Montreal, early on, Kelly-Ann appeared on multiple TV shows and got to sing with Celine Dion, in addition to being part of a Christmas musical presented at Place-des-Arts.
