Broken Vow announce debut LP ‘Anthropocene,’ share “1.5”

New England hardcore band Broken Vow (whose vocalist Tommy Harte also currently plays guitar in Anxious) have announced their first full-length album, Anthropocene, due September 29 via Triple B Records (pre-order). The first single is “1.5,” is a ferociously heavy hardcore song that takes on the issue of humans destroying the environment. Tommy says: Every year we lose 1.5% of wild nature to development, extinction, and general human intervention. This song is about the objective truth that humanity is squandering the privilege of the earth. This is not our dominion, and if we wish to survive we must exist in harmony with the earth and cease to view it as a foe to conquer.
