TWENTY MILLION PEOPLE is a deeply personal album that tells the story of the band’s decision to leave their hometown, Istanbul, and move to Vancouver to pursue a different life. It’s thematically rooted in history and politics, the psychological condition of the people who grew up being subjected to them.
