Molly Maguires Premiere Their Frightfully Good “No Reason to Run” Music Video

As they are written, songs take on meanings of their own, and that meaning can often change as the song progresses. Molly Maguires’ “No Reason to Run” is a very multi-faceted composition; it takes on an even larger meaning with its accompanying music video, which you could say is more like a short film. Filmed with the assistance of longtime collaborator Rob Santos, the video was shot in the interior of Rhode Island at a secret, supposedly haunted location. Being a fan of low-budget horror films, Santos was inspired to create a visual that would capture the essence of a b-movie, with many camera angles, harsh cuts, and minor errors typical of the genre.
