I am now ashamed to admit that I haven’t listened to much of Snuff since Demmamussabebonk. I always liked what I heard, but nothing really blew me away (besides “Martin”). Flash forward 26 years, and I can’t stop listening to Crepuscolo dorato della bruschetta borsetta calzetta cacchetta trombetta lambretta giallo ossido, ooooooh così magnifico!. It is one of the most fun releases in recent memory. Snuff come firing right out of the gate with the opener “Looks Alright From Here.” There is a brief, slower intro followed by a long drum fill that leads into an airtight verse that is fast and catchy, setting up an equally good sing-along chorus.
