Album Review: One Flew West – The Blur

I was taking my dog for an early morning walk in nearby woods. I was layered up and my breath looked like smoke exhaling from my lungs. The baseball field to the left of the entrance path to the woods is partially covered in ice. The frosty grass crunched under my snow boots. Though my exterior was cold, listening to The Blur, the debut full length by One Flew West, warmed up my insides, giving me a feeling of summer in the process. One Flew West is a pop-punk band from Colorado that writes extremely catchy songs. The music is borderline mid-2000s emo and 90s alternative, with a pop-punk attitude.
