French noise punk band Dewaere are sharing their new video, “My Shangri-Laaa,” and you can catch it right here, premiering at New Noise. The band formed back in 2017, featuring Maxwell Farrington (vocals), Julien Henry (guitar), Marc Aumont (bass guitar), and Franck Richard (drums). Dewaere are preparing for the release of their second album, What is pop music anyway?, on April 29. The band have drastically changed their tactics since their debut LP, Slot Logic, with this new release. At the time, the band opted for “feral writing through collective repetitions,” holding riffs at the center of their sounds, resulting in the raw and explosive aspect present throughout the album’s tracks.
