Green Day have got a huge year coming up with the potential release of their cryptic 1972 project and the upcoming UK and European leg of the Hella Mega Tour, and if that’s not enough they’ve just been honoured by the mighty Toyah Willcox and Robert Fripp. For the couple’s beloved Sunday Lunch video series, yesterday (March 13) they tackled the iconic Dookie single, with Toyah taking the meaning quite literally by wearing a basket on her head. As for the aubergines? Well, we’re not so sure on that one.  In the background, a handwritten sign reads: ​“May ur basket overflow with love.” Excellent!
