It’s a difficult task to make heavy extreme music sound beautiful, but Glassing pull off the feat with ease. They seamlessly blend doom, old style screamo, metal, hardcore, shoegaze and punk; making it look simple in the process. The musicians have a high level of talent that brings about a wide range of emotions while listening to Twin Dream. The guttural screams contrast nicely with the music, which has an epic feel to it. Dustin Hoffman’s voice is high pitched and angry, fitting well with the music. He also has a whispered sing that he uses on occasion, which sounds more like an accompanying instrument than a vocal.
