After forming in 1979 as teenagers, new-wave icons Altered Images quickly had worldwide success, selling millions of records, which topped the charts in several countries. They recorded three Top 10 albums and had six UK Top 40 hits including Don’t Talk To Me About Love, I Could Be Happy and Happy Birthday. Altered Images have now announced a March UK tour with support from Scarlet in addition to their Summer festival appearances, including Rewind Festival and Rebellion Festival. Lead singer Clare Grogan has gone on to have a vast career in TV, Radio and writing, including the film Gregory’s Girl and cult sci-fi comedy Red Dwarf.
