Off their forthcoming debut album, Dutch rockers Rockford are sharing the third single from the record and newest video, “Walkin’ In,” right here at New Noise. The band were named for singer Niels Schmitz’s birthplace in the U.S. Rockford borrow from Seattle grunge legends like Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, and Alice In Chains, stepping forward from the rainy, damp lowlands town of Klundert, Netherlands, and making a name for themselves with their heavy, grinding, slow-riffing, detuned, stoner rock. Their sound also clearly features a pop flair, their songs easily making their way into ears of listeners who will have a hard time forgetting them.
