Toronto, Canada hardcore band Cold Shoulder are sharing their new video, “Misery,” premiering exclusively here at New Noise. The band formed in 2016, and since, they have unleashed three releases: their T.O.H.C. EP in 2016, their Self War LP in 2017, followed by their Backlash EP. By 2018, Cold Shoulder complete multiple coast-to-coast tours, played as part of large festivals like the Vans Warped Tour in Toronto; Tulsa, Oklahoma’s Flyover Fest; and Snow & Flurry Fest in Fargo, North Dakota. The band’s sound is best described as a blend of metallic hardcore, with influences from early-to-mid 2000s Canadian hardcore bands like No Warning and Comeback Kid and East Coast hardcore names like Advent, Incendiary, and Converge.
