Though it’s been nine months since Sheffield five-piece Intervene released their last single, The Conquering, their new single, Wasted, picks up exactly where its predecessor left off. Recorded in the same studio and mastered again by Pete Brazier, there’s a sense of cohesion between the two tracks certainly, but where The Conquering was an aggressively anarchic offering, Wasted provides a sense of melody behind its nihilistic exterior.
