Logic recently dropped the video for “Highlife,” directed by actor and filmmaker Kevin Smith. The rapper has long admired Smith’s work and has vocally credited him as a major influence on his music. “Highlife” is featured on Logic’s forthcoming album College Park, due out February 24, 2023, and follows lead single “Wake Up.” A self-described orphan with parents, Logic was the child of an alcoholic, mentally ill mother on welfare and an absent, crack-addicted father.
