Ullrson Releases His Latest Viking Techno Single, “Ragnar’s Revenge”

Following the success of his first two releases, “Odin, Far Wanderer” and “Dedicated to Odin,” Ullrson returns with his third track of Viking Techno. The Viking Techno sound is represented by Old Norse vocals, jaw harps, throat singing, frantic breaths, and horns. “Ragnar’s Revenge” recounts the story of Ragnar Lothbrok’s heroic death in a snake pit and the revenge Ragnar’s sons dish out on King Aelle through the legendary Blood Eagle. Ragnar’s defiant last words were “Gnyðja mundu grísir, ef galtar hag vissi” (“How the piglets would squeal if they knew the old boar’s condition”). The boar was a sacred animal to the Vikings, as were the wolf and bear. The boar refers to Ragnar, and the piglets refer to Ragnar’s sons. Hail Ragnar Lothbrok!
