Track Spotlight: We’re Wolves – ‘Still Waiting’ (Sum 41 cover)

Horror metal cult We’re Wolves have released a head-bang-inducing cover of Sum 41’s pop-punk classic, “Still Waiting, ”and we think you really ought to check it out! The band, whose heavy metal covers have given them a well-earned notoriety amongst the genre community, have added their signature screams, thundering riffage, and metlacore sensibilities to the track. They’ve even created their own version of the iconic Does This Look Infected? cover for the single. This nod to Sum 41 is long overdue, as the band cites them as an early inspiration. Frontman AJ Diaferio says: Sum 41 (to me) was one of the heaviest bands in pop punk when I was a kid. I always loved the way they worked in street punk and heavy metal into their sound.
