‘The Family Situation’ is the latest single from Sydney punks, The Kids. It’s a passage into the depths of a teenage mind. Furious, cold, hateful, anxious & upset, the track speaks of destructive home situations and provides a voice for those who are voiceless. The Kids drummer Jagger Alexander-Erber had this to say “This song was written all the way back in 2016, and only recorded last year. We never looked at it to be a single but with the shit that is going on in the world at the moment, it’s hard to get a recording session. So, to keep all you folks happy we decided to reach back into the vault and pull this out.
