System Of A Down frontman Serj Tankian has shared a video for a new song, Hayastane, with lyrics written by the Armenian Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan. The track arrived on the anniversary of the Armenian genocide – which the band have pushed for recognition of many, many times throughout their career, from songs like P.L.U.C.K. and Holy Mountains, to their incredible Wake Up The Souls Tour in 2014. While providing a new song for the people of Armenia, Serj, Nikol and instrumentalist Kamo Seyranyan also came together to try to bring a sense of hope to all who are struggling with the coronavirus pandemic right now.
