As a musical unit, ATER is certainly not for the faint of heart. This is a full-on, no-nonsense, intense metal machine, as you’ll take note of on their brand new record, Somber. The band has come a long way since their formation in Santiago, Chile, in 2010. They are led by the visionary multi-instrumentalist Fernando “Feroz” Bühring, who has worked tirelessly to define, tweak, and finetune the band’s sound.
