Nashville-based singer-songwriter Soccer Mommy, a.k.a Sophia Allison off of the stage, is amidst a lengthy run across the United States humorously entitled “Touring, Forever,” in support of her latest release Sometimes, Forever, which dropped this past June. The tour sees a rotating cast of opening acts—we were fortunate to catch her final show with opener Lightning Bug at Boston’s House of Blues on Sunday, November 6th! Despite it being a Sunday evening, fans packed the first floor, and much of the balcony at the House of Blues as opener Lightning Bug kicked into a fun if also more subdued set with “The Return,” from the band’s 2021 release, A Color of the Sky.
