Slipknot Cancel Asia Tour And Knotfest Japan Due To Coronavirus
The ever-growing list of bands cancelling tours because of coronavirus is getting even bigger, with Slipknot the latest group to pull out of five shows in Asia this month due to the global outbreak of COVID-19. The band were set to bring their own Knotfest to Tokyo for two nights on March 20-21, as well as performing as Singapore Rock Fest, Hammersonic Festival in Indonesia, and Amoranto Stadium in The Philippines. “In light of global health concerns, Slipknot have decided to postpone their upcoming Asian tour, including Knotfest Japan,” the Iowa titans say in a statement. “While decisions like this are not easy, the safety and wellbeing of the band’s fans always comes first.
