Show Review: Tool and The Acid Helps at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA

Almost two years have gone by since the covid pandemic put Tool’s North American tour on the back burner. Originally, the “Fear Inoculum” tour was to run until late spring 2020 but has since returned with a vengeance. Tonight, finds the band playing the sold-out Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia P.A., and with over 20 thousand die-hard fans in attendance, tonight’s show will (should) represent a reunification of “Tool” culture. As the house lights dimmed drummer Danny Carey started the percussive intro to the title track of the band’s new album “Fear Inoculum”, the sold-out crowd all of a sudden was on their feet.
