Militarie Gun release new single “Thought You Were Waving”

Militarie Gun have released “Thought You Were Waving,” their first proper new single since last year’s great Life Under The Gun. Created with Zachary Dawes, the song is a chunky, mid-tempo alt-rock song that embraces the band’s Weezer-y side without totally shedding the grit of their punk roots. It’s a great song that feels like a clear step forward and you can watch its Neta Ben Ezra-directed video below. Since releasing Life Under The Gun, Militarie Gun made the entrance music for Post Malone’s WWE 2K24 character and they released the Life Under the Sun EP with reworks of LUTG songs featuring Mannequin Pussy, Manchester Orchestra, and Bully, plus an acoustic NOFX cover.
