Mascots have released their latest single, “Slipping in the Dark.” The song is a perfect blend of classic and modern emo/pop-punk that will take you back to your favourite records while keeping you in the now. Commenting on “Slipping in the Dark,” the band states: “The song is about becoming vulnerable enough with yourself and your surroundings to embrace the challenge of change and instability. That we sometimes find ourselves slipping back into our old ways, slipping into these dark and negative habits, mindsets, and lifestyles that not only affect ourselves but also those around us.
