Four-piece band, Khartoum, who are set to unveil their debut recording, the Vultures EP, on August 20th via Young Poet Records, have today shared their latest single, “Took It All Away.” Recently receiving praise from Courtney Love, who said Khartoum is a “cool af rock band,” this new single continues to, per a recent press release, “…build on the band’s vibrant aesthetic, ‘Took It All Away’ mixes enticing contemporary indie-rock grooves with an insouciance reminiscent of 70s era Rolling Stones, featuring electric and acoustic guitars, brass and a foot-tapping beat.” Commenting on their track, the group shares, “‘Took It All Away’ started as a patchwork of ideas that were woven together around the theme of dependencies in relationships.
