After celebrating their new album, Saviors, on the eve of its release at a SiriusXM show at Irving Plaza, Green Day stuck around NYC on Friday (1/21), where they played an extremely intimate in-store at Rough Trade. The band previously did a set at the venue attached to the store’s Williamsburg location in 2016, but the new Rockefeller Center location doesn’t have the venue so they played right in the store. Tickets, which were available with a signed copy of Saviors, sold out immediately, but Green Day hid a few wristbands throughout the city, which they teased the locations of on social media.
