Cold War Kids and Joe P Command Boston’s House of Blues [Photos]

“You ready?” were the first words we heard at House of Blues, Boston, as Joe P announced his presence on stage. He launched into his set, head bobbing and hair flowing wildly. Joe P and his band members wore bright colors, baggy cardigans, and even a sweatband. This is one of those really strong artists who sounds exactly like he does on record. While he switches up his voice or the instrumentals slightly during his songs, he does an excellent job of letting his authentic self shine through on stage. Not only was he high-energy, but the crowd, even those who did not know his music in advance, was bouncing to the beat.
