Today, Birmingham, GB quartet Chartreuse is announcing their full series of SXSW tour dates, alongside headlining shows in Dallas and Brooklyn. Their debut record, Morning Ritual, released last fall, had been a long time coming. Chartreuse hond their craft over the course of four well-received EPs and the standalone 2022 single “Satellites,” a collaboration with Orlando Weeks. While the band has described themselves in the past as “ambient dark-pop,” their sound borrows from and touches on everything from folk to electronica to jazz and rock and finds its creeping majesty in what comes out.
