The minute I walked in the gates to Boston Calling I felt unsafe. I have been attending Boston Calling since 2014. It was my first concert, and I have gone for most years since that point. The version of Boston Calling that took place in Government Center has a special place in my heart, as I got to see some insanely talented bands in a rather small setting before they really blew up. I definitely appreciate how much bigger Boston calling has gotten in that the magnitude of the bands they’re able to host has increased substantially since the early days. I only attended the Sunday festival date for 2024, so I cannot speak to how packed the two prior days were.
